Lincoln Meet 2006 ( September 15th - 17th )

Post by LASEROWL » Mon Apr 10, 2006 2:05 pm

Having been asked by a few people if this will be happening again this year,
I have decided to run a poll to see if enough of you want to do this again, or first time for all newbies.

Details from last year
http://volvo480.dragons.org.uk/forum/vi ... php?t=6122

At one point we had 24 480s. Would be nice to go one better this year.

only possible date is:

as last year
Friday evening 15th - Sunday night 17th September

Will need to check availability of these dates but want some feedback
of interest prior to contacting my mate Malc the landlord.

@MHUK
Martin you will be home by then, you and Vader made it last time
round so good excuse for a homecoming meet :D

PM me or post here pls.

I would be up for a meet if it was either of the august dates. Might be a bit difficult if it was in september what with me starting uni and all. I will give it a go though :)

WOW

Must have done something right last year :D

I've spoken to Malc at the pub and the Weekend of Fri 15th - Sun 17th is available, this is the same as last year.

Sorry for those that wanted August but its just too busy.

Also he will let me know how much a Hog roast would be for the Saturday night, if enough people are interested. For the Veggies, or anyone not wanting a bit of Hog, then he does serve excellent food in the pub.

Any ideas for the itinary are more than welcome, do we go to Skeggy again or shall we choose somewhere else?

I'll ask Daniel to do us a proper registration page after the Euro Meet and I'll get the ball rolling.

Lincoln 2006 is on.............. :hopping:

Why don't we ask JT to do a chicky barbeque? :D he's good at them
- good for those of us who don't eat anything with four legs , or that once had four legs, or should have had four legs - (including amputees).

An alternative to Skeggy would be good , as much as I loooooooove the dodgems - you can only stay on them for so long before you throw up your candyfloss :? .

@VBB what else was Mart supposed to do? he's too tall for the dodgies. ....p.s. Ad - the look for this season is stripes! ;)

hmm....I know where I'm staying :D

hmmm There were lots of trees and a nice long fence there, I have a set of handcuffs now so it could be time for a little pay back, and if he resists he can reason with the steel end of my night stick Image
