Wow! Great meet...

Thanks again to Nikki & Wayne for putting themselves through it all again for all our benefit! Nice one guys! :D
Cheers to Lee and Chelle for providing the "club house"... looked like a bugger to put up!
Big thumbs up to Mr&Mrs Chacks for organising the quiz and prizes

My car is now running brilliantly... big thanks to:-
Richmann1 for helping diagnose the boost problem, and the wiper fault,
Catgroom for helping with switching the coil,
JohnTurbo for lending me his coil,
Martin for finding the leak in about 10seconds flat, when we'd all been scratching our heads for ages...
Richie Macaroon for Dan the 480 man's new nickname
Danorak for being a top team mate (cream (code 278) always rises to the top ;) )

Great to see so many old faces, had a top laugh.
Also, really nice to see all the new faces (some strangely familiar!)... I can remember how awkward it felt the first one I went to, hope you all enjoyed yourselves and come again! :D

Hope everyone got back safe and sound. Look forward to the next one!

Big thanks to the Laser Owls for such a well planned meet (that treasure hunt must have taken ages to prepare guys!), and the venue was spot on too, what a nice landlord to taxi us b&b lot around, and the grub was just what we needed after a day in the 480 saddle too. :D

Congrats to 'The Team with No-Name' on winning the pub quiz. When I get the photo's sorted I'll post all the team photo's/scores on a thread. Gonna have to make it a bit easier next time around mefinks as no-one got near the '480 Anorak' score, very disappointing.... :volvo:

Glad to see Dan's compulsive 480cleaning disorder paid off with the 'Best 480' prize, that was one spanky white 480 amigo! Although I reckon if Vins' turbo had been there earlier it might have been close though!

Was great to meet everyone else old and new too. Well played Suddy getting that gearbox sorted, and will get a look at your 480 next time Joolz!

Had a nice drive back over Buxton on the way home. Hope you all had a good day in Lincoln on the Sunday, weather was great and how was the ice cream this year?!? ;)

Stu.

Thanks everyone, glad you all enjoyed it. Nice to see new faces and the usual ones as well.

We may have to give next year a miss....new house to sort out & a certain wedding. But him and me are 40  in 2008 so we will probably invite you all to a celebration of some kind.

Luv
Nik xx

 Cheers dude! Aye, it's bloody hard work keeping a white 480, but it paid off. It was just nice to have it acknowledged! Been browsing the supermarkets today, seen some quite nice electric toothbrushes  Nah, thats cheating, hardcore manual toothbrush punishment all the way

It was a good meet-really good to meet the lot of you. Def. looking forward to the next major meet (wherever that one will be!). :D
