Are any Brits going over to VOMAC in Feb?

Well, I am not Brittish but do want to respond to this. It is that I am moving to my new home in February and that I do want some things installed / checked on my car before I went on such a trip, otherwise I might have gone :D But 2006 is bad timing for me. It must be a breathtaking experience!

Just play around with the pulldown boxes on this site, beautiful pictures from Northern Sweden! Naturfoto AB

Just look here!

Map with webcams!

Try the right red dot at Karesuando (in the North), or the middle red one at Umea (bit lower along the Finnish border), or the middle one in Vilhelmina (bit more left and up)

8)

By the way: closing time for VOMAC is January 28 I believe, so if anyone is daring enough to go and have the trip of a lifetime...

Part of me loves the idea, would be absolutely unforgettable... but I hate driving in snow and ice... especially when I'm getting torque-steer and wheelspin in normal conditions. I'd last about 5 minutes.
4mins40secs wheel spin before I go shooting off to the right and disappear into the nearest snowdrift :|
