MIDLANDS MEET 2006

This is just to get the feeling from the people that matter out there. So thatâ€™s you folks.

I know itâ€™s a while off but itâ€™s for interest only at this point.

As we all know the 480 is 20 years old next and we was thinking of hold another Midland (ish) meet in about April. There would be some cost involved as we wouldnâ€™t be holding it at the HOMD due to lack of space. We can either do a 3 or 4 day meet that pending on what people what from the meet.

I have a few campsites lined up just north of Birmingham by Kingsbury. By the water park for those of you that have to a midlands meet before.

The plan so far is something like follows.

Day 1. Meet up at the site and do the usual get pissed and go on the bouncy castle of doom

Day 2 would be the road trip day. Just some of the attraction possible for this day within 30-40 radius we have: Warwick Castle, Motor cycle museum, Millennium point, Stratford, canals, Drayton Manor theme park, Tamworth snow dome.

Evening of Day 2 would be the BBQ (cost) and raffle. Then fun time beating john turbo up.

Day 3/4 To be planned

I have my 10 foot by 20 foot main tent and the homd 20 mile down the road in case anyone needs anything fixing.

Please post the interest or lack of for all to see. Its up to you people weather the meet goes ahead or not

Count me in! whenever is good. as long as im still able to put fuel in by that point and i havent declared bankruptcy!

not sure about 4 days though!

up for the road trip part though and a nights camping/slumming it!
