Well although VBB & WD are most probably not going on the tasty wets (although with both of them owening not 1, but 2 480's don't see how that's possible ) I reckon me, Brasco and Andy (workmate) might be having a couple {ahem} of jugs of Chesters finest biers, and if anyone gets a podium finish in the GPrix there'll defiantley have to be a bit of bubbly too. Iye man!suddy wrote:now, should i come in the car and not drink, or come on the train and get drunk?
are we intending on going in posh places or can i wear my poloshirt?
If I were you Sudmiester I'd be wanting a drink on a Saturday night, but your shout.
Chester on Saturday is always a safer bet if you bring a smartcashual top anyway, even although you should be fine with a poloshirt. Being middle of December you might need it anyway as for some wierd reason all the bars are a good walk between in town.
Revolutions is always a gas, but there's the usual Old Orleans/Brannigans/Weatherspoons/The Room etc aswell.
I'll be booking us a table early evening for some eats/discussing summers 2006 N.West meet, Suddys European tour debrief & 480quiz&prizes, then we'll take it from there. Probably winding it up around 11/12pm which is last train times anyway..... oh, how Mrs C has heard that one before....
Those meeting at mine around 11-12am please.
Chester meet point is 6pm @ Revolutions bar which is the station end of the high street.
Anyone who wants secured parking, let me know and I'll get you a pass for the banks private carpark (next to Chester Station - please advise if required and I'll get you a pass - I will need them back though!).
Any other questions - just ask.
Stu.

Crewe is bit out of way compared to motorway, but 'this is the age of the train' (anyone remember that one?) it certainly aint!
Still 58mins is pretty good, takes 45mins in the car when I come upto 3sisters (That's the racetrack not the triplets!).
@Mart - now that would be a bit of a drive for a night out, but as mentioned anyone can be assured of a good N.West welcome. Normally something like "It's your round.".

Suddy,
Go Via Liverpool and the Wirral line. That's not intercity and will probably be quicker and cheaper.

LOL - Nah, nothing that wild guys! Go to help out/spectate when my uncle races there, it's a track!
http://www.racing-school.co.uk/circuit.html
He comes over your neck of the woods too Brasco for the sprint at New Brighton (was the Sunday after the PromRally this year).
Races an OMS single seater with 1100cc Kawasaki racebike engine/quickshift box/lsd etc. Goes like a rocket.
Gotta say though of all the tracks Ty Croes (Angelsey) has gotta be the best weekend in the calendar - wadda view!
See you Saturday guys - everyone know the 6 w's?

They're kinda similar to the 5 w's, but I add one for good measure.
Who
What
Where
Why
When
WALES!!!
In other words, does everyone coming over for Saturdays meet know what the score is, or are there any questions, if so let me know via thread or PM.
@Suddy - you still training it over, driving or driving and staying over? Will have to kick everyone out Sunday fairly early I'm afraid as got pretty busy day, but there'll be plenty of bacon butties and cups of tea 1st!
Got stickers for everyone to put on the backs of their helmets so you can tell who's zoomin who at the racing. Tried to colour code them aswell relating to owners cars, but got bit unstuck when it came down to mine and Suddys!
Hope your all geared up for the 480pubquiz as got some killer questions
See ya soon!

Ad
You'll be around in the moring, with your camera? No wonder you've got the user name BigBrother Ad! Shockin.
Anyway, will be kicking everyone out fairly early Sunday am as got a busy day, so you'd better bring the camera Sat instead amigo.
So, 4 days to go.
Maybe I'd better start running a tote for the racing results on Sat.
Reckon I'll win of course, Brasco will be stuck without his turbo boost, Ad will be too busy looking for the clutch now he's used to his auto, and Tony will get lost as it's in England. Andy (workmate) will be too busy crusin for chicks down the homestraight being a VTS driver, although never seen Sarah drive......hmmm
Well, thats the plan anyway......
