Alton Towers The return

Yes as it says in the title the return to Alton towers will be on MONDAY 26th SEPTEMBER 2005 thats Monday

We planned on going in the week so that we can get away from the ques.

So its time for everyone to pull a sicky and come

Would love to go but no cash, Vader swallowed up fuel and several small children.

(lucky for them they could get out using the boost leaks)

Last time we went we didn't get on everything so we bought return tickets to use once the kids had gone back to school.

So the lot that went first time round already have tickets

Shall we are meet at the tesco again then drive up to alton towers?

If so what the best time for everyone

Unfortunately I'm off to alton towers tomorrow, it's been planned for a few months now and there's no way I can get it put off till monday - sorry

Sadly Sarah won't be making this meeting, she has pulled to many sick days and her boss is getting suspicious now. I may attend, will clear it tomorrow

Go up the A515<<ish>> from Lichfield - classic country road driving!! Woohoo!! Just remember to brake hard for the bridge over the river after the "Welcome to Derbyshire" sign... its a dogleg over the river... Managed to jump Kochanski on it, and it got hairy when the tyres hit tarmac because a wall was coming up rather quickly.... Added on to one of her many tail-end dents... I think they've put traffic lights in the way now.

Tragically I can't repeat the performance in Greta on Monday because I wouldn't want to risk cracking a rear-cluster on that wall and I have to be in Reading

Another time though - gotta get on that new ride Rita Queen of Speed... hmm!!!! Nitrous Oxide proppelled roller coaster!!!

Yes we'll meet up at the same Tesco's at around 9.30am, rides start at 10.00am

I just don't see the point of meeting at Tesco when time is short - fair enough if we were meeting earlier, so we can have a bite to eat etc - but as far as I can tell, we're aiming to be riding the rides at 10:00 - so I don't see the point in meeting at Tesco at 09:30....
