Well, i'm desperatley looking for a new job, so if i can get one, i may be able to tell my new employers i have a holiday booked in May that i've paid for it. I am proper gutted though. Just my soddin' luck! I was ready to bring my SLR with loads of attachments (oo er!) and get some quality shots at a proper rare event....i am really gutted!

Ill be there for sure. Daniel, one thing. With the meet Germany it ll be a hell of a drive if we where to go to the birthplace of the 480, or c30. Is that scrappednow?

Hi!

Well, there is nothing Volvo anymore in Born, the NedCar factory only produces Mitsubishi Colt en de smart forfour (not something interesting enough to pay a visit). Since the location for the meet is still being investigated there is a chance that we are not too far away from the factory, but I cannot say anything sensible about it at this point.

I don't know where the C30 will be produced, might be Volvo Genk?

Don't forget, the birthplace of the 480 wasn't Born, but Helmond, it is near Eindhoven.
There all the designwork was done to make the 480.

@Matt: we're still working on a suitable area. We're going to try to have the meeting at a location with both camping areas and hotelrooms around, so people can choose where to sleep.
