Alton Towers Meeting/Day out

Everyone who attended the meeting last week bought entry tickets for use until the end of the season on the 27 of October so we are going to have another day out there

So who wants to attend this time? I am assuming the dragons, owls, lees and jamo are already on the list so who else fancies a great day out?? And when would be the best time for everyone? August/September/October Weekday/Weekend

I'd quite like to turn up and meet some of you guys, would be nice as its round my way (ish) and it would be good to meet people in person, so i might come... (or maybe just turn up in the car park... its the queues... they scare me...

Sept is generally out for me, unless could skive off work one weekday, but any other time is good.
Not sure about His Majesty though!

I think a weekend would be best as my new job means I am now working 7 days until my I make my mind up as to weather I want to stay at HomeBase, but I am able to get Saturdays off but week days I think asking for a day off or pulling a sicky would be pushing it for my new job

I thought the plan was to go midweek when the kids were back at school, so we would get on more rides......correct me if im wrong...

@Adam pls bear in mind some of us work seven days a week and odd shifts,

so getting any time off is a problem, but we'll work round it.

Ad,
August Bank Holiday will be an absolute nightmare at any attraction like Alton Towers-one of their busiest days of the year.
I guess that Laserowl and Dragon are thinking more of a date after 6th September when the kids are back in school and hence take advantage mid-week.

Indeed, as discussed on the day before we bought the return tickets!

Anyhow, I already have Mon 26 Sept booked off and don't need it anymore. So before I cancel it, would anyone be up for going that day?

Week after the Lincoln meet, yep that would be ok with the Owls can get the time off ok.
