I'll pack my sleeping bag too then ;)
I've heard the Edinburgh Dungeons are a good tour round. I think its where you go under Edinburgh into the old streets. quite spooky apparently :scared: !
I'm sure we'll find something to do. :D
Paul, I'll be heading down the M90 from Perth to Edinburgh so won't be heading the Stirling way, probaby best to get lost on my own and not take a group of 480's with me.
I'll be ok for finding the way to asda i think, i'll print out my route before i come down. (no namby-pamby sat-nav for me! ;) )
Sal, i don't like beer either, more of a Vodka or Gin connoisseur myself
I don't mind bussing it if i really have to, i like those small busses with 4 seats, radio and your own personal steering wheel the best. ;)
i've never had a deep fried mars bar before...
See you all @ 12 in ASDA then :hopping:

I've got a good friend who help set up the Edinburgh Dungeon - it's good fun! - I'll have a wee chat with him and see if we can get a group discount ;) There's also all the evening/night walking ghostie ghoolie tours round the old town - some of which take you into all the old underground bits where the population were bricked up during plagues - nice way to treat your neighbours!. I'm claustrophobic - so I've always chickened out of those bits, but there are other tours that go round the old graveyards (.....um....er....graveyards at night....well ofcourse - I've only 'heard' about those ;) ) and other spooky areas!

I'll pm you Roo with directions that include visible landmarks! rather than try and look at a map! or I can meet you near the bridge and you can follow me.......I do know where I'm going (.....for once! )
Gin?- what an excellent choice! ;)

hallo lovelies!
hope you're all packed for tomorrow!
I've got a bit more info about proposed activities over the weekend -
The Edinburgh Dungeon open 10am-7pm (£10.95 entry - but I've got some £2 off vouchers ;) ) it's good fun - a bit like a gothic panto!

Deep Sea World open 10am - 6pm (£8.55 entry) swimmy stuff that lives under the sea.

Rohan is quite keen to go on a ghost tour on Saturday night, have a wee look at http://mercattours.com I've been on the Ghost Hunter Trail and missed out the underground bit (I'm VERY claustrophobic - I did try but had a major panic attack just inside the door and had to get out) most of these tours go underground at some point. If we fancy this I think we'll need to book in advance - but hopefully we can do that on the day - what do folks think? (tics are £7.50 tours leave at 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm - wear a jersey! or if your taste dictates- a fleecy type fing, tweed jacket, jerkin, parka.........) we can always decide that in the morning tomorrow when we meet up.....(whether or not to go, rather than what to wear.......girls eh! ;) )

Did a recky in Asda today to check availability of barbeque type stuff and glad to report they are well stocked :D though they have changed the store around and I got lost!!......well it is a big store ;)
Yours
easily confused of Edinburgh

p.s. I'll be in the car park from about 11.30 am - in a quiet spot at the back somewhere. Ally'll probably be there around the same time (? :) )

You've all got my number  so keep me posted! - good luck with the lights Rohan!

Ok, so i'm REALLY sorry, this is the first time i'd ducked out of anyting in a long time...but:-

1) I've recieved a letter from my insurance company, the other driver is trying to claim...off me?!?! I need to sort this out.

2) My mums asked me for some rent...whhich i thought they'd forgotten about, so am now UBER skint.

3) She also wants my leaking rover off the drive so i have to change the head gasket this weekend.

I'm sooo jealous, and really unhappy i can't come, secretly i'd decided i was going to...:(

I hope to see you all soon!
