Convoy from HOMD who's up for it.

We will set off from here in Birmingham so anyone coming from the south can stay at HOMD on the Friday night if they so wish then on saturday morning up to Sheffield to meet yet more 480's before commencing with the final leg up to the meet.

@ rpruen & Catgroom sorry to hear that guys. :(

Well we're getting close now guys & girls so here is a map link of where to find the place, for those not meeting up with Lee in Brum at the HOMD or coming to the Owl Sanctuary first.

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi? ... ig&db=&rt=

Plan is to leave my house at 10am

Very basic directions are:

From the North travel down the A1 to the Markham Moor roundabout ( Beware the Gatso's on the Elkesley stretch of the A1) take the A57 signposted to Lincoln, look for signpost for the High Marnham Power Station (decomissioned) turn right, travel through the village of Ragnall on past the power station then turn left (old sign post for the pub on the corner) follow road down through the village to the pub car park.

From the South travel up the A1 either to the Markham Moor roundabout, and then as above.

or

turn off the A1 right turn onto the B1164 Carlton on Trent, take a right turn for Sutton on Trent on through Grassthorpe, Low Marnham, right turn to High Marnham....look out for the old pub sign ( Brownlow Arms ) follow road down to the car park.

Please respect the 30MPH Speed Limits through the villages

Hope this helps :D

I miss another meet - Greta and I will make one of them at some point I swear! - Contrary to my previous post I'm unable to make the meet - some b*%^£"d wishes to give me a job and the interview clashes miserably.

I wanted to show off my shiny new carbon spoiler and all the wires were my dashboard used to be!! <<sulks>>

Sorry guys

Do you fancy coming in the NW convoy (ahem... of 2) with me and Ad VBB?

That's a point... is Chackers not coming to this one then? :(

Ad... Just thinking what's the most convenient place to meet, we could catch up at Warrington turnoff on the M56...

Suddy, if you want, we can catch up somewhere around Stockport and then go through the snake pass...

I've got my haggis, my spurtle and a tank full of Glenmoroptimax and am planning on leaving at about 6am.................all invading Team Scotland members wishing to break their journeys are very welcome to B and B at SS Towers on the friday night, or we can meet up at Asda at 6am (since it is on the A1 anyways) - anyone got any thoughts? :D

What time should we meet you at Scotch Corner Joolz?

sorry to hear Stu, Groomy and Richard aren't going - won't be the same without youse..................and ofcourse we'll miss Stu's jokes!
