Yeah but John, Vader might use its Force powers to split a boost hose on your red machine.

That's if it doesn't piss itself again first!

I've just dragged out the vacuum cleaner, stupid fecking rain lastnight though means I can't polish her just yet.
Nope - my car is CAKED in mud from last weekend's clay pigeon shooting and all week of wet horse trails, and frankly I aint got the time to fix it unless JT and I get up early tomorrow...

No wash so far for Vader. @ VanDerGraaf I'm sure you meant the above comment as fun but I'm really trying hard to sort all the things wrong with my 480.

Hi guys,

Sorry I didn't manage to get to the meet. Came back from a week away to find an injured horse. Vet was duly called and recommended (amongst other things) daily poultices. As I can't afford to put her on full livery atm, I am afraid I am tied to the yard for 2/3 daily wound-care visits. :(

Hope you all had a good time though, and look forward to seeing you all again next time.

Well, we had a great time, sorry we didn't make Skeggy today, but Jayne had a migraine when we got up this morning, and a couple of hours with the kids didn't help it! Good to meet up with other people, and put names to faces. Thanks to that nice Mr Laserowl for the organisation.

Yep ditto!I came over all knackered and funny in Lincoln when I went off to feed Cassie when waiting for the rest to turn up.BUT,it was great to finally meet people only ever spoken to on net previously! :D

I think I will keep my 480 now!It was really quite painful seeing Graham turn up in my old Turbo,Gods sake he only wants a few hundred for it,I was gutted that I couldnt just scoop her up and take her back! That last trip around the Lake District in her bought back some great memories-sniffus massivus! :cryhard: :?

So sorry to hear about your tall quadroped Alison! I hope she responds favourably to the poultices.

And Im mega gutted me and Cass didnt get to meet Bully either,Lee and 'Chelles's Rottie chap!Arse!

Oh well, the 120 mph hack up the A1 with Battus firmly up my arse in,and I still cant beleive it,one bloody amazingly powerful ES was scary cos of the old bill but funny when all of a sudden I spotted this black LHD Turbo, thought "Ah,its gotta be Richmann_1", and started hooting like buggery!!!!

Splendid stuff!

See y'all soon!

Me and Woofus! :D

Great meet - got to meet lots of new people which is always good - really was overwhelming on the first day, as I'm sure Wayne will agree with!

Sorry I wasn't as perky this meet as I have been in previous ones, some stuff was going on putting a dampener on the weekend for me personally, but hopefully will get that sorted.

Thanks to everyone for coming - I have the signed board with everyone's
signatures on, which will go into my games room as a momento. Perhaps we ought to do one of those for every future meet and have the signed board in the raffle?

Thanks to Wayne and Nikki for their expert organisation skills - especially the very detailed running commentary of the trip to Skeg, so everyone knew exactly where to go and what to look out for (and yes I laughed when I saw "the eye"!!!!) ;)

Great meet! Roll on next monday for the mini-meet at Alton Towers (part 2) :D
