Hi All!
After meeting finally Dan the 440 man from Lowestoft last night,he mentioned that none of us in East Anglia have REGULAR meets as some other clubs do.....
I propose that we meet once a month at The Lowestoft Marina.
This post has been completely re-written due to Dan's brill idea.
So who would enjoy that then???
Please vote in the poll,all welcome-not just East Anglia people of course.

Okay,
How about Lowestoft Marina as the venue..
Nice in the summer and we'd all be heading for the coast in our 480s with piccy niccy type chatty chilly stuff going on!!!!
Can some that have voted which Im really pleased about make some posts as to what they think to this???

Hey guy's...
Lowestoft sounds like a very good place for a meet!
And Steve....what do you mean close, it's a whole 10 minutes away! Being up the seafront the other night opened my eyes...i'd give a Mars Bar to anybody who could guess how many ££££ worth of filler there was up there
.
Each to his own and all that, but it was awful....so many identical Saxo/Corsa's, big plastic bodykits. I just get sick and tired of being the only Volvo owner up my way-it was good to meet Steve, and it would be good to meet some more people. Volvo's are just great!
Not sure where i'm going with all this, but yeah, i'd be up for meeting-would be nice to get a group of Volvo's together. I know a few places where we could get about 50 odd car's (not that that many would turn up i know), so you could make it a good-un if people were up for it...
Anyway...i'll keep my eye's on the post.

Just to say that if we can get,say,10 480 owners or people which own 440/60 but would like a 480,then I'll post a proposed meeting date for spring or summer..

ps Yes Yarmouth "cruise" was only made intersting by ONE 200 SX S14A and ONE decent Skyline.There WAS 1 480 there,but by the look of the owner who didnt even bother to wave or nod,suffice it to say we drove on back to our respective 480 igloos!!!!!!
C'mon,lets see some more Suffolk/Norfolk/Cambs/Lincs folks and more...

Well then East Angliana!
It looks like I come up with the idea of the meet and Gaz has the meet ideas!!!!!!!Splendid!
Get posting and we can see how we all feel as its OUR meet after all.
Personally I like the ideas Snetterton and Wells,the Marina is fine though and means Dan can get up late!Oh that reminds me,all persons attending with the reg XCL are actually barred due to their vehicles being just that tad too clean!

Reg no's ending with UPU are banned also (that would be my Dad....you think mines clean....). anyway, you never know, if it's arranged for July or something, i may roll up in a 480. Thats right, you heard me... The 440 is up for sale! So if you know anybody who may be interested, i'm looking for a staggering £1295 (only done 88k bless her), (i know i wont get that), or possibly a part exchange for a 480 Turbo...
It will be a sad sad day
... But, i doubt i'll be swamped with calls so spread the word!
But yeah, some good suggestions. Only thing is, i work all weekend, so a weekend meet may be a bit difficult-but i'm sure i have holiday booked in July, so perhaps something could be arranged then maybe possibly no alright then?
