Hey Mrs Laserowl, is that a New Logo T-shirt (or something) I spy in your photo there?! looks good! :D

I think everyone should wear their name at the meet as I'm useless with names and will probably be getting it wrong all week...

Cheers!

PS I just noticed that the Plas Gwynant website says there's no mobile phone reception in the area, unless Ad noticed otherwise when down there? May be worth bearing in ming if people are splitting off or need to keep in touch with home etc... anyone have walkie-talkie?! :)

Cheers,
Martin

I can confirm there is no mobile signal for about 5 miles, that’s with O2 anyway, Orange seem to beable to get a faint signal there but don’t know about the other networks.

I have a set of radios but there can only be used up to a mile or so

I’ve put new directions in my post on the other page for those travelling on the M6 joining the M54

Suddy, you can call me anytime, I don’t think there will be any problem waiting if you aren’t to far away

Just a reminder for people to remember to bring sensible stuff like walking boots (especially if your planning walking up Snowdon on Wed!), rainproof jackets, etc aswell as camping/sleeping gear. I'll be bringing a sterio and normal bbq as I've heard the disposable ones are like, sixteen million dollars.....

Food/drinks/beer etc would be good too although there is a shop a few miles away. Fingers crossed for sunshine huh!

Look forward to meeting everyone tomoz at the service stop - will try to put a wee '480>' sign on the verge of dual carriageway for the service station junction to direct people off. *Remeber to take a note of Adams mobile just incase*

Stu.

Thanks Stu

Just one last thing, bring cooking utensils with you don’t think there is anything in the barn to use on the cooker

Anyway, met Daniel today, he may come down to the meeting point tomorrow to meet everyone and drive up with us but he said he would let me know. I took a quick pic of his collection in front of my Celebration

We'll have to go easy on the stereo... unless adam's arranged otherwise...

Responsible... Yikes... Anyone for a jamming sesh...? Bongos is my only speciality unfortunately...

I assume that to mean leaving and entering the site. Not that you have to be tucked up in bed by 11pm

Bear in mind we are a fair way away from the main site too, so we won't disturb anyone with our party :)

They've obviously had bad experiences with bongo's... but we're still allowed to fiddle.

Can someone brief me on the country code? Is there a rule about not rallying on ploughed fields?
:dunno:
