heh, route finders avg, is based on avg speed of 41.5mph whereas yours is based on averging 62.25mph. So a differance in 20.75mph avg speed makes 16hr take 24!

Better keep your foot hard down Felyx! :D

I drove around the back of berlin from the netherlands up north to the eastern sea last authum...
on many tracs my average speed was 180 Km/h.....

This of course were it was allowed.
( still most places in germany have no speed limit on highways!)

but..advice
Take enough sleep, and drive trough germany at night..
not through Poland and further!from here on you need daylight ! (some roads, and traffic will be bad !)

Be aware of (no offence!) Hard working Polish drunk and sleepy "west workers" driving home for the weekend ... they drive slowly at 130 KM/h with mostly old cars on the middle lane, but need the whole three lanes to drive at night  You will not forget em easy as you aproach em with +200......

I must tell u, there never goes more energy though a 480 body than to kill 200 km/h speed in no time !

(calculate to miles x 1,6 i think !)

Driving to Latvia I will do once too, as i did to Swedish lapland the other summer..... I like the east very much, specially them under scandinavian influence....
luck,
JPF

From Luxemburg it will take, provided U drive the max alowed speed and no traffic jams ( at night for instance) about 1,5 to 2 hours , from the east of the belgian harbour town Antwerp.

So maybe 2 to 2,5 from the harbour..

I never been to Calais.

Be aware for the little things and big dangers of driving on the other side of the road !
luck,
JPF

2 hours from Luxemburg to Antwerp? You must have a rocket up your ar$e then JP! Even travelleing on that bl**dy awful autoroute from Arlon to Namur it takes at least an 1.5 hours from Lux to Namur.

Bet on 4 hours from Calais to Lux, via Lille, Tournai, Mons, Charleroi, Namur, then south.

That way you stay out of France for as long as possible.

I could drive that route in my sleep, but all of the potholes in the road would wake me up!!
