That'll be a great meet up I am sure! Unfortunately I am visiting family in the Falkirk area 10 days previously so there's no way I will be able to do 2 visits in a short space of time unfortunately

That's a shame Martin. Ironically, I wanted to have the meet the previous Saturday, but our cattery was fully booked.

Having just booked Glasgow hotels for an extended stay to visit family, I checked up on where their ULEZ zone is. Rather than a daily charge, it's a heavy fine if a non compliant car enters it. Tongue in cheek, I tried our 480 reg. nos and to my astonishment, the 1700s, both n/a and turbo are allowed!! Bonkers !!

I quite agree. Accordingly to DVLA, all our 480s are bad enough to pay £325 road tax but the 2008 Saab is so disgracefully polluting we get stung for a whopping £720. Yet TFL would charge us to take a 480 into the London ULEZ zone and guess what ? No charge for the lovely clean exhaust on the Saab. It makes me wonder if any of them know what they're talking about.

afraid i myself and my +1 will not manage! i have a scout camp up in inverness that weekend - a shame as was looking forward to a catch up with any one, always next time round!

i'll check and see if my brother is interested in heading over.

side note - Sylvia do you still want to collect the GT interior we spoke about a few months ago? depending on your time scales i could perhaps meet you on sunday evening somewhere, or i could see if my brother could take this to you at some point ?

We are toying with the idea of coming up to the Kelpies and onto Knockhill, not up to Aberdeen though.
Can't commit yet but the 480 is booked in for an MOT, service and thorough check over on 11/10 so we'll see how that goes

but I do have a decent pair of near new rear discs and a 'LEFT HAND DRIVE' fog light (not just the dummy) I seem to think that somebody was wanting one earlier?
