7th May Northants - Derbyshire Mini Meet

It's convoy time again !

Al and I will be coming from Yorkshire, so Jeff has kindly volunteered to be on mother hen duties for the first section and we will join at Tissington after a lazy morning.

Here is the schedule:

start at East Hunsbury Toby Carvery, Wootton, Northampton NN4 0TG - Jeff will be there by 9am, well probably earlier as breakfast will be calling. The convoy will set off at 10.30

Lunch at Tissington Hall DE6 1RA 12.30 - 2pm

Tea break Derwent Dam (of Dambusters fame) S33 0BB 3 - 5.30

Following landslides in the storms we MAY have all the fun of Snake Pass A57 5.30 - 6 (watch this space for changes, depending on how far they've got with re-opening the road)

Evening Meal The Fairway, Dodsworth, Barnsley S75 4LS 7 for 7.30 pm

Is anyone else interested ? - this is looking like a small turnout. Would it help if I moved the date to the 28th ? I usually try to avoid bank holiday weekends with the thought that family committments would likely keep some people away. If you'd like to come but can't do the 7th, please pm me with availability.

The 28th would be better for me. It gives me more time to sort R3s issues so I can attend in it.

I can do the 7th but probably not the 28th unless I can swap shifts around at work. I would either travel up that way Friday evening and stay with my parents in Leicestershire, or find a camp site nearby.

Looking forward to meeting you all at Tissington Hall for lunchtime on Saturday the 7th of May.
Then will come with you to Derwent Dam or most of the way there as we will have make our exit to be back home for 6.30-7ish.

Hello, just to say that Tissington Hall Gardens entry fee for Adults is 7 and Children 3.50.
The Hall and Gardens together is Adult 14 and Children 7 pounds.
