Yes, hello and welcome. Along with the 480 I am also an LHM fluid junkie although currently on the LDS fluid at the moment.

I must say, the ticket booking process was needlessly complicated and quite ambiguous in places. With no pay-at-the-gate I hope I have done it correctly.

Mk2 for me i'm afraid. One day i'll attend an event in a 480; promise!

We will be there, two 480s which I thought were going on display but comparing our tickets to Jeff's it looks as though something went wrong and we're in the carpark.
Shall we organise a time to meet at Jeff's car ? 12 perhaps?

I'm aiming to be there early doors. Hoping they'll be food trucks!

Now we have had Brexit and Covid-19 is on its way out, let's hope we've had our fair share of plagues in the 2020s so I can visit the UK in 2022. And I also hope FOTU 2021 will be such a success that everybody wants to come next year as well.

Already checked food stalls will be there, Al would never forgive me if there weren't.
I am now thoroughly confused, our tickets have no reg nos on them, but there is no charge on my credit card statement so I've no idea if we will be in the display area or not !

as I understand it there's 3 areas:

1) Concours
2) FOTU parking - Classics but not in the concours
3) Modern crap

Depending on how you registered you may or may not have your Reg on your ticket.
Equally confusing is that the ticket "appeared" to cover the vehicle - there didn't seem to be a way to purchase for passengers etc. This may not be the case, but I figure by the time the queues are backing up because people are arguing/asking if they take card etc, they'll just start waving people who at least have some form of ticket straight through.

3 together, my Lily (white turbo) Al's Sven (racing green GT) and Jeff's Henry (peacock green turbo)



There were only two other 480's there, both Paris blue.

There a rather nice video on youtube, posted by spenyboy5, where he has a good look at our cars and does an interesting sweep around Lily - 30.20 minutes in.

I'm sorry I didn't get to see the bulk of the 480's (a wedge of 480's?) and meet some of the characters from on here during FOTU 2021. I was parked a few rows ahead and worked my way round clockwise at a cripplingly thorough pace, so a lot of cars had left before I got there. Thank God for the amount of YouTube documenters. The only one I saw was the blue 480 Turbo - someone on here? It was very nice.

That looks really good ! I didn't see it at the show, Al and I were like a couple of kids in a sweetshop, didn't know what to look at first so we ended up missing a lot. Pity we didn't get to say hello. Do come along to one of our meets if you can, we are back in Lincolnshire this Sunday.
