Any 480er's in the South?

Post by tevred turbo » Thu Mar 11, 2021 5:34 pm

Really nice to be back on the forum after so many years but I wonder... Is there any club members in the South of England, Sussex, Kent etc?

Hoping to get either another 480 or get mine up and running so would be cool to one day one catch up with other 480 fans if there are any? Never see any down here.

Best wishes

There are several members in Hampshire, and I know of one in Kent.

One of our routes for mobile meets normally runs from the Hellfire Caves near High Wycombe down to Havant, with a photoshoot outside the gates at Goodwood, which is not so far from Worthing. For this year I'm planning a couple of 2 day events to make up for lost time, but all the exploration is on hold until restrictions ease so no details yet. As always, everyone is welcome, with or without a 480 and for as much of the event as suits them.

Sounds great! Goodwood is around the corner really and Portsmouth is no issue either. Let's get this awful period behind us so we can all start to enjoy a little normality! By then I hopefully will have a 480 again!

Hello Anthony,
I’m in Maidstone Kent. I’ve not seen another 480 anywhere around here. I have a 95 Turbo Auto. It would be good to get her out on a run, when we can :)
Best Regards,
Steve
