I see Alan and Sylvia have set the tone! My picture seems very tame in comparison. Having trouble loading it, for some odd reason, but I am here!

Alastair here, Sylvia's better half. I can't get on the forum, so I am chatting from Sylvia's comp. What a job you have to do!!!! That engine looks good. Have you rebuilt it? My cars are a GT 1994 and a turbo 1992 with the Robou mod and yes, it goes like hell. What is your car, I can't indentify it from the pic. Thanks for joining the meet, Sylvia and I do a meet or 2 every year. This year is disappointing, to say the least. She has put an awful lot of effort in organising the meets and no less this one. Hopefully we will see you when theis bloody plague lifts.

Sylvia's blue 480 ES is nearly ready and looks fabulous. Final paint work and then, on the road, after almost 2 miserable years off the road. SNAZZY, rises from the ashes......................hooray.

Never have I seen Paris Blue look so deep in colour as per that paintshop sneak preview... looked great.

Mines a 1994 Turbo Al... with more rust than I planned for... but welding is behind us now... should of been finished two years ago but life gets in the way!

This lockdown is getting boring now. TVR is still SORN until pub gardens open again... and such fantastic weather too!

I think I am a Man of Kent Andrew. Lots of debate now on what is a Kentish man or Man of Kent. I thought it was if you were born North or South of the river Medway other people think it is East or West Kent, some people used to think it was to do with wealth or hierarchy in the town.

I used to think that it was East / West. Nice to chat. How's the lock down affecting you and your business, or are you up and running 2 meters apart!!!!!!!!!

Morning challenge:
Inspired by a French club competition which resulted in this photo:



(1) Find 3 or more roads whose numbers add up to 480, as near to Northampton as possible. No, it’s minimum of 3 roads so you can’t use the a480, b480 or c480 !
Lowest number of roads over 2 wins unless it’s a tie.

(2) Use a route planner to plot the shortest circular route starting and ending in Northampton postcode NN4 0TG which uses your selected roads amongst others. Tiebreaker 1 is the shortest route.

(3) If it goes to a second tiebreaker it will be the old standby ‘guess the weight of the cake’. In my ‘cake mix’ is:
1 x 480 front passenger seat in cloth
1 x 480 headlamp without motor
1 x Momo steering wheel boss
= ???.?? kg.

All 3 answers by pm to me, with ‘cake’ as the subject. Deadline 2pm - now extended to 6pm
