ANG was nikki's.

From Wayne (Laserowl):-

Es with the EP engine mine was the white 2 litre
Ang got her name from its reg H59 ANG which she got when inported from I.0.M in 2002 we sold the plate and got issued the 52 plate due to registration being in 2002.

Now scrap I am sad to say!

I unofficially own it again as of yesterday, but some reassembly is required!!! (And it was rusting a bit in 2005...so bodywork likely, though its been dry stored.
There is something decidedly Royston Vasey about the 480 isn't there.......Welcome to Volvo 480...You'll never leave.

Hope all goes well with the 'rebuild'..?

Who had/has that 12k turbo though?!

I saw some of your 2005 photos via the PhotoBucket link you've probably forgotten about on your profile.

That's a shame - I was interested in ANG because the pinstripe on the front bumper looks distinctly green in the photos so I wondered if it was a Paris edition ?

@Dragonflyjewels Indeed ANG was a Paris Edition we had two Paris editions one went to Bear and ANG eventually got scrapped but the seats and Funky carpet lived on in my white 2.0 Which after the rebuild went to Hungary for a T4 lump to be fitted.

Need to see if i can resurrect my old photobucket.

Good to see the forum active and that these great cars live on and still bring the smiles and heartache that we know so well.

VFC is mine... i've had it for 15 years and put 160K on it, using it for work and going to Europe in it. Some pictures of me there too.

Nice to see that the members from the meet still read the forum...

All the best
Stephen

Great news to hear these cars are still around - and also great to see a real blast from the past in terms of the names suddenly popping up in this thread :D

Best wishes to all!!

I'm sure I went to a meet at this venue but I think it was slightly later, when my 480 (light met blue turbo) met it's end on top of a wall during the treasure hunt  I remember sleeping in your red turbo JohnTurbo??

Ha, yeh I was on my own in the 480

Far too much enthusiasm on the treasure hunt (I wasn't driving), lost control round a bend and landed on a wall. Was no fun, trailered home and later stripped her down. I still have spares and parts on my 480 - she donated to many 480's.
