Swaffham Meeting Sunday 8th August

Today was going to see the Swaffham (Norfolk) meeting but frankly,it was a bit close after Chris's in May,also I didn't give people much warning!
Can you let me know here whether you are interested in coming to this one?
The more the merrier,i.e. Chris's gathering plus some that couldn't make it would be spot on.
Garry DevelishRed480 will be doing a rolling road photoshoot for us,taking shots of us driving our cars.
If we meet up at the Q8 garage on the A47 at Swaffham at 10am?
C'mon lets do it,the venue is a picnic area with loads of space.

what about coinciding with a stock car meet , at swaffham raceway .

been there , can get food , bar etc.

Sounds like a good idea.

Same offer stands as before. Anyone from the soutwest needs a lift, then contact me. I have a trailer, and would be happy to take parts that you may want to sell (No more than 500kg).

Hi All!
Great that this meeting is set to be a definate.Great also that there will be Turnac from Poland too paying a visit.Great that Garry DevelishRed480 is coming from Cambs to do a photoshoot-in a 480 of course (!).
Also,a friend Dan from Norwich is coming in his lush beastie too!For those that don't know Dan,he has spent well in excess of Â£10k on his J-plate Turbo.Ferrari Red respray,2.0 litre Turbo conversion nearly completed,16" special order Image 16" Split Rims,Touring Car discs/pads/calipers,lowered,full red/black leather re-trim,Dbs mega-input on the body for the front/rear spoilers and the obligatory MBC!You get the picture,we like this 480!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cant wait!!The roads in that area are splendid for the photoshoot and the Picnic Area is good for the nosh/beer and waffle!

everybody realises swaffham has a lrage volvo breaker aswell ?

perhaps we can drive down there and swamp the place with volvos so they dont know their arse from their elbow and nick off with loads of stuff

Norfolk Volvo Spares dont seem to be that hot for 480 stuff,they hate the things.All they ever seem to have in is alternators,distributors,sub frames,switches.
They love their 200,700,800,900s.

Ooh,and their labour rate is Â£25 per hour,which is nice!!!!!

For anyone using the A17/A47 to get to meeting,when you cross Sutton Bridge,after about 5 or so miles look to the right for a big yellow banner saying Marriage Carriage Company,you'll see a grey '91 ES Auto looking very stripped.This car is free to a good home if anybodys interested.Still has engine/box,no interior but all glass.Belongs to Alex Fairbridge who can be contacted on 01553 827206.
