New members welcome at meetings

Being aware that there are often delays over new members being able to post on the forum, I just want to say that if anyone would like to come to a meeting but hasn't been able to contact me - you are welcome to just turn up and surprise us on the day.
I like to know who to expect in advance, so I can exchange contact details and keep people up to date with any last minute changes to times. Also, the venues want to know numbers, especially for meals so contact is preferable but I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem if we did have a few extras.
