Volvo 480 Club Europe

....... organised by The Volvo 480 UK Facebook page a rolling road day open to all Volvo's and spectators is happening on the 23rd June at Performance Tuning & Remaps in Nuneaton. Should be interesting to see the difference between any modded 480's and also see what the standard NA's are putting out! Please come a long if you can, the more the merrier!

Rachel, We will be coming and probably bringing both turbos. Al's Paris Blue has a robou mod which is easily turned off so we'd like to get a printout with and without. My white one is (we think) unmoded but performs a lot better than Al's did without the mod. Should be interesting. Do you need reg nos ?

Not sure if I will be able to make this unfortunately, I will have to check; it does sound like a very fun day indeed though!!

I am very curious for the gains on some of the modded turbos; might be a case of sourcing an ECU for our white Turbo, me thinks

Just back from the Rolling Road Day - thanks to Ashley from the FB group who organised it, and Rachel for being the 'middleman', as well as correcting my brain which was convinced it was on Sunday - so glad we didn't drive all that way only to find them closed !
Ade was there with his hardware modded car, sadly his clutch started slipping on the test but he was very happy with the shape of the curve - almost vertical, then quite wide before it went over the cliff.
We were keen to see how Rachel's performed as she also has a Richmod but her car is de-catted. Disappointingly, her clutch slipped even sooner than Ade's.
In the end we only took one turbo, but both mods and the original ecu so we could have 3 runs for straight comparison on the same car. I'll put the details on Lily's Transformation thread.
