Hello,
Anyone interested in a meet at the Ace Cafe on London on the 10th March?? A few are going from our FB page, its a general Volvo meet but would be great to have a good amount of 480's. Let me know!!

wow, I haven't been to the Ace since the 60s when it was all motorbikes and black leather....
might well take a run back to the old stamping ground

Just been informed that the meet is for a specific club so I don't think we'll be able to just turn up. The club have given the cafe a list of registration numbers of those who will be attending. I did have my suspicions about this and tried to find the club to contact them but they didn't come up either on FB or the web. So, I think it's a no go

There seems to be some confusion about this event. Some members of the 480 club in UK were planning to attend but have been told by the Ace cafe that only pre booked (with registration number) will be allowed in.
I an unable to bring my 480 and was asking to bring a 740 or 960 limousine
Does anyone on this site know who is coordinating this event?

Hi,
someone on the fb page has just said its Swedesport uk. Its register with you number plate due to limited spaces (50) in the car park but there maybe spaces on the roadside. Not sure if you have to be a member though.

o brill, will pm you details in a day or two - it should be Al's turbo but she disgraced herself tonight. Left her ticking over and she just died and then wouldn't even try to fire so she will be recovered to her mot appointment in the morning. Fingers crossed there's nothing major or unobtainable. thanks Rachel

Delighted to say the fault we had seems to have disappeared, and she sailed through the MoT.
