Brill Classic Car Show, 27th August

Post by WRDendy » Fri Aug 18, 2017 8:43 am

I'm planning on taking the car to the Brill Festival next weekend - short notice, but if anyone else in the midlands/south is at a loose end it would be great to see you there! I mentioned it to Rachel who seemed interested, so fingers crossed we will have at least two cars in attendance. The website has been slowly dying over the last week or so, but as far as I can tell it's free entry from 12pm onward, so relatively informal. If there are a few interested people I'll work out a meeting point so we can arrive in convoy and get spaces next to each other. There are some great pubs in the village so there will be somewhere to retreat to if necessary.

Ahh...Brill; many times have I sat up there on top by the mill :D

Was easy from High Wycombe - bit far from north of York though ;)

Hope it's a good day for those who make it there!

Last call for this one - I'll be doing some ambitious trim removal and replacement followed by some cleaning in the next village over in the morning so anyone at a loose end is more than welcome to post here or send me a PM if they'd like to come along.

Oh well - come and say hi if you do make it over, and make sure the scaffolding is down in time for the big one in October!
