Mini impromptu meet

Post by frenchfries » Mon Jul 31, 2017 2:08 pm

Hi all

I managed to host Brinkie and his family for a few minutes earlier today as they were heading up North. He also took this opportunity to drop off the second speedo unit he refurbished for me :)

He is also the first forum member to see Skip in the flesh and will therefore vouch to its existence :hopping:

Thank you for all your hard work Brinkie and enjoy your holidays.

Some photographic evidence:

It was an honour meeting you and a delight seeing a 480 getting the attention it needs! Believe it or not, a Turbo automatic with aircon and sunroof was by far the most expensive 480 you could buy in the 1993 model year (the VIN says it's MY 1993), save maybe for leather upholstery. But everyone wants leather and your cloth interior looks great so I would stick to that, as yours could very well be the last one in this condition.

Judging by the picture you could not tell they spray painted a fence next to it :)

Tyres are 195/55/15, normal size for a Turbo I guess.
