Hi Robert, this meeting on July, 1 is this to celebrate the 480 Register's (NL) 25th anniversary or is it just a general meeting?

I was 100% coming to see you guys until my wife reminded me that I'd already agreed to go to her friend's wedding that day.

Do keep us posted on any other dates in the future though Brinkie please.

Oooooh
I was planning a trip to visit mum in Lille during the Summer. This meet in Holland is actually do-able and would fit in.

CANCELLED!!! International meeting - Netherlands - July 1st

Post by brinkie » Mon Jun 26, 2017 9:16 pm

Sorry guys, this meeting has been cancelled by the organiser. He claims there were only 5 participants and pulled the plug.

But we may have an alternative. Orlando has cleared his field full of scrap 480's and now there is ample space for a meeting with BBQ and camping. No facilities whatsoever, apart from (almost) every spare part available for your 480 that you can think of. I will keep you posted on the progress.
Robert.

I think some people have learnt their lesson and will now start planning a few months more in advance. :wall:
Also we are trying to work something out in September. I'll keep you posted :)

By the way, this weekend a LOT of rain is predicted with temperatures barely crossing 16 degrees. I think some farmers have summoned the rain, because we have had quite a drought here. So it's not a very bad thing this meeting has been cancelled.
