Volvo 480 Club Europe

The French 480 club are having their annual meet in the south of Belgium in September. Al and I plan to go with the two turbos. If anyone is interested in coming, please pm me your email address and I'll pass on booking details. Although many of them speak good English, it would be great to have more Brits there.
It usually kicks off on Friday lunchtime with a picnic then convoy to go sightseeing. Accomodation can be included at a large gites (like a youth hostel) where they book the whole building so it's a carpark full of 480s and communal rooms full of their owners. Alternatively, you can stay in a local B&B if you prefer.

What a great idea - However, much as I'd love to come along, I don't think we'd be able to get 2 child seats plus all the baby paraphernalia into the wee beast, not to mention the likelihood of sleepless nights..

Their meet next year will be in Lyon, France - much further to drive but perhaps we could do a mini-convoy over 2 days ?? Or 2 smaller convoys - one for those who are willing to do it in one day and one for those of us who prefer to take it easy. Date is not fixed yet, but last year and this it was 2nd weekend in September so pencil it in if you might want to come. It generally starts Friday lunchtime, but very flexible for those who can't make the whole thing. Another idea might be to incorporate in a holiday in France.

martinmc - 2 child seats ??? will they sleep long enough ?? or will it be 'are we there yet?' 10 minutes after leaving....
