You may well be on your own then, since we don't actually know if it's ending on Sundaykirsty_2003 wrote:if like i didnt get there till sunday and left about reasonably early on monday? would it matter?
its just under 200 miles for me
just under three hours it will take me........
or carrying on till Monday - originally I thought it was a 3 dayer, but after speaking with Chris on the phone, it sounded like it was a Saturday thing with the Sunday being chill out and depart in your own time, so a 2 dayer...
Hence the 31st has a ? next to it in the title
Chris, can you confirm the exact detail please?
Cheers!

Hi Jethro,
A fair distance I am afraid 130 miles. However if you are travelling from Nottingham to Devon on that day.
When are leaving?
Do you have to arrive at a certain time?
You could go right past us with a very minor detour. Obviously look at a map and find Swindon, south of there you will find Devizes. We are 5 miles to the East in Chirton. If you have family with you, a detour could take you through Avebury a very enchanting stone circle used in many films. Then when you leave us you could go to Stonehenge which is boring but worth seeing.
Let me know if you are interested and I will send you directions.
Regards
Chris

I'm afraid I won't be able to make it, I have to be at Kingsbridge to check into our holiday cottage for 10am, & I don't think the rest of my family will be overly impressed if I shoot straight off again, especially as it'll leave them with one car between 7 of them...
I'll definately pencil mysef in for next years meet though, but give me plenty of notice so we don't book our holiday at the same time!
Cheers,
Jethro

Hi all,
since I don't think there is really a need for having several threads about a single meeting I have decided to close two of the three UK Maymeeting threads. The Central Topic thread will remain open.
