Rolling Road Meet 28th Febuary 2004 ***CANCELLED***

Post by CHESH740R » Mon Jan 19, 2004 10:13 pm

***********************EDIT******************************

The Rolling road has broken down and they can't guarntee that it'll be fixed in time for next weekend, so its been cancelled. It will be rescheduled for a later date.

***********************EDIT******************************

Where: Volvo Tuning, Bromsgrove

When: 28th Febuary 2004

What time: 9am

Price: If booked place on rollers, £35. If not, just your petrol!

Directions: See volvo tunings site http://www.volvotuning.co.uk

More details are below

Right, the plan is to meet at Volvotuning in Bromsgrove just before 9AM (for the running order of the dyno to be set out).

If you want your car on the rollers, get some figures, then give Adam a call at VolvoTuning on 01527 577710, cost is £35 per car. There are a limited number of places on the rollers, so if you want to dyno your car, get on the phone ASAP.

Basically me and some other Brits from the Turbobricks Forum have been trying to organise a meet.

So we thought we would attend the rolling road session thats allready going on and will have plenty of the 850/ 70 series brigade at the rollers.

So far 3 of us from turbobricks have booked a place on the rollers. And then after the rolling road session we were gonna go for a drive/thrash out to a pub in the area to compare cars, then shoot some vid's of the cars in action and whatever else.

So far from turbobricks we've got

my 740 turbo,
a 940 turbo
a 460 2.0litre

From here the 480 site we've got

Lee and his 480 Turbo

So come on lets see some 480 Turbo's on the rollers, especially some modded ones.

Me i would like to see a good old 1.7 480 with a B18E engine on the rollers just like what my last 2 480's were.

I will try and get on the rollers as we all need something to laugh at. It is standard apart from the exhaust.

I would like to see some of the DBS lads there, but they all seem a bit CHICKEN if you ask me. I would like to know what gains I had got.
