Post by Pink Lady » Fri Mar 13, 2009 8:48 pm

Thought I'd be ballsy here and ask if anyone would be interested in doing a meet on our lovely great british south coast of Portsmouth/Southampton(exception of course)
I'd love to show off our rare classic's along southsea seafront to all the little boy racers in their saxo's - i mean come on!!!

If anyone is interested in this, let me know I'm sure we can arrange it between us - would be a good day and larf I'm sure as well as seeing each others 480's..... :) :)

Please put down dates that you would be good to do and we'll try and sort it out!!! :kill: :kill:

I'm in...

Post by gingherheed » Fri Apr 10, 2009 8:46 pm

Count me in, though I need to check my diary first.

I'm not surprised there are hardly any takers. If you look at all the posts on this thread you'll see that everyone wants to go on a meet but no one wants to drive too far to get there!!

Even if only three or four 480's converge on Southsea I reckon it will be a good laugh.

I say let's do it. I wonder if there are any French members who would like to come over on the ferry?

I hope we meet up cliffey. I want to replace the card board speakers so could use some advice from a proper boyracer. Chooooons!!

I'm 43 by the way. So I don't need a boot full of boxes/bass.

Meet

Post by gingherheed » Thu Apr 30, 2009 8:55 am

Not sure why you want to go for a meet then sell the car straight after!

I've got loads on for the next few weekends but I'll be on for a meet after that. I'll get some suggested dates up on the forum.

If anyone has a suggestion for locations then please post. I'm thinking that if we all go to Southsea it will have to be early or in the evening to avoid all the tourists taking up all the road space and parking along the front.

blimey the abuse I get honestly lol....I have a few peeps interested in her now I am driving her around on a daily basis now too and even hubby who has a lude likes the turbo and the way she picks up, she is a good fun car to drive I give it that and she is a real head turner as they are so damn rare now!!

Cliffeydawlish - Get what you can for your nan set a good reserve for her though sure she's earnt that!!

OK put down some dates for this ere meet then and everything will be kool, I shall more than likely still have the car after the 15th anyway to be fair so I can still drive her down to the front and yes I agree after the tourists have buggered off for the day will be the best time to go down just as sun sets to get some good pics in background??

Boy racers will be around too i'm sure!!  (bring it on)
