AKA: The Midlands 480 Club Europe Mini-Meet

When:
Tuesday 12th Aug From 7PM

Where:
Resolution/Brittanic Assurance PLC
1 Wythall Green Way
off Middle Lane
Wythall
Birmingham
B47 6WG

This is a great classic meet up with everything from Ferrari's to 480's
rolling up. It's very relaxed. Bring your classic and park with all the
other classics. There is a bar (for a swift half) and a barbq so you
can grab the pre-requisite meet burger. All the other owners are
very approachable and friendly.

Usual suspects are Me (in the prize winning 480 turbo) My Missus
in her 480 Two tone. We also usually get a visit from 'Mr Volvo'
Lee and the big bad 'Bear' If you are really lucky Esta will make it
and maybe one day we will persuade Smooth to bring his pimped
480 back so we can have a look at it!!

It's a great evening just a couple of miles from Jnct3 of the M42
(thats the south side of Brum).

Now the sun is out there will be lots of great metal on display (there
will be hundreds of cars, easily!) so I'm hoping a few more 480's can
be persuaded to make it to this one! (and it runs every month so maybe
to a few more before the summer ends!)

Well the Wythall has been and gone... and it rocked!

Abscences from Esta, Smoothy and Da Bear...

Fookin slackers!

Me and Sam were there and the 'other' Lee came too.. so we had
a fairly nice lineup of 3 cars...

(before Lee arrived)

There was some proper nice metal out tonight. One of the Mustangs
had such a burble it re-arranged my internal organs as it drove past!

One of my faves tho was this-

This show is losing it's venue in December and it really really is a great
event. So come on you lot get your arses in gear and come along! Next
one will be the second tuesday of September.

Yeah I was absent due to the seriously bad traffic on the M42 mixed with bad weather equalling (a rather grumpy and tired) me not getting back from work until much later, and then not wanting to drive all the way back down the M42 again!! Sorry

Am currently sitting at home sneezing and sniffling still so I wouldnt have been fab company

Don't you just love excuses. I came down from Manchester and still managed to get there and i am limited to what speed i can do. The only reason for not attending is not being arsed!

Well as of December 08 this venue will no longer be taking place, maybe just maybe i will see some other 480's down there bar the wolf and TT

Sorry if i seem a little pissed off by the lack of commitment to a evening meet which is affordable (only petrol) and still only the normal people turn up. Mobile phones and text messaging are there for a reason.

Laserowl and myself are trying to organise a meet for everyone for a weekend and yet locals and semi locals who know that this is held on the 2nd tuesday of the month (during summer) and sundays (during winter) can't make the effort to attend is it worth us going through all the hassle of find a venue, orangising things for just Cerbs plus wifey to turn up, but hey atleast that would be 4 480's.

Come on people show some commitment to the 480. I like many others have been all over for meets. I understand that bills have gone up, but so have mine.
