I would like to go but I can't make it. Fair play on Dan for sorting a meet. I had hoped that mine would be gone on.

Cheers

Cheers dude. 480 or something else then...? Go on, 480-think of the group 480 photo's that you'll be missing out on, thinking, 'wish i had bought my 480 now'.... ;)

Well, i can't deny i wasn't gutted 'cos i was. But i looked at the original post and a few people were up for it, so i thought sod it. Glad it's happening now-quite a hard thing to do, organise a meet but i think i've done ok up to now. Had lots of offers for help off various members, which is appreciated

The real test will be how well it goes! I just hope it's bloody sunny!

As the meet will be finishing on Sunday morning i'm going to be going to the classic car show at Dalemain House on my way back to Lockerbie. See Here
I've been before and it is usually a good event with a good selection of cars. Just thought id post it up here in case anyone is interested in going as its only 30ish miles from the meet campsite. :D Map Here

Update

Just had a call from the campsite-everything is confirmed and booked. The meet is now 100% official. You're all going to America! Er, i mean Cumbria :D

People staying in a B&B...er, just Ad then can come on to the site in the evening. The lady said you may be able to take your car in, but might have to leave it in the car park if not. You don't need any card to join us, you just have to tell the person on the gate you're with us for the evenings only.

Looking good now guys!

Rock on! :volvo:

I'd say roll on, but one hasn't a ferry booked, yet!

Which reminds me, must MOT car before hand, plus my insurance expires that weekend, plus it's the missus birthday the weekend after. Great!
