well as per the thread in G/D i've had a bit of a change of plans today! as a result of having to source/replace my window have had to re-think plans for tommorrow, i'm still really keen to go but as i'm currently up past perth it wont make sense/i wont have time to get back to glasgow for the morning, so i'll let you guys convoy without me and i'll meet you at the wallace monument at 1pm!

I may or may not see you guys in the morning, we'll see if Andrew's night out leaves him sober enough to wield an angle grinder on my spares car!

I am taking bets on that one- but the odds are poor...!

Whatever happens, see you at the monument around one.

Maybe whilst we're there should destroy that awful Mel Gibson statue that stands unashamed at the entrance!

Well thats me back in Aberdeen. Not been in long. What a great meet, allbeit a small one. Where were you all?! It was good to put faces to Ross and Owen, nice to meet you guys. Rohan, thanks for the parts.

Yeah was a great meet if you ask me! good seeing you guys (again) next time, more pub, less 480, or possibly even some sort of driving day/pub night affairs? but then the chances of people having even one day off at the same time must be 1 in 3233409734234.56

anyway good on ya those that showed, was a good day out

and you've done it now roo, even mention the pics and people are gonna want to see them!

Yeah it was a great meet, clearly quality over quantity! i was secretly just in it for the Aberdeen Angus burger in Coopers though!

By popular demand see the sparse pictures of the Glasgow based mini meet yesterday!

Meeting the Tesco car park was maybe the wrong idea â€¦ as members of the AA truckers began to fill the car park!

then it was off to the Wallace Monument is Stirling, great view from the top and the weather wasnâ€™t too bad either â€¦

Then it was back to Glasgow to hit Coopers for a burger â€¦

Then off to strip some parts off of Rohanâ€™s parts car â€¦

I didn't make it to the meet proper, due to my girlfiend's timely decision to slice her finger up with a food blender mere minutes before I was due to leave!

Fortunately things are ok there, and she is alright.
I set about the spares car later that day, thinking I'd maybe at least see Andrew as he wanted some bits.
What a great surprise it was for me to find Andrew tapping me on the shoulder as I was working away- with the rest of the guys in tow!

It was great to see everyone again, especially as Murf was not scheduled to attend but appeared as if by magic!

It may have been a small meet but I really enjoyed my small role in it. That video is a sad moment, but some must die so that others may live!

Looks like it was a good meet anyway-the AA team obvioulsy prepared themselves for a bunch of 480's-great money spinner

Thats why i'm so envious of all these owners near(ish) to each other...it's just little ol' me out on the chilly east coast

Remember i'm quite far north, my mini meet was a 300 mile round trip so i know how it is to have no 480 fans close by. The only one near me turned out to be a 480 breaking, content removing crazy fool!
