Supposed to be working that weekend but will see if I can sort something.
Given the choice, I'd personally go for the bowling; the laserquest and paintballing sound very much like a younger man's game!
I'll let you know as soon as I can whether I can make it or not.

Come on Tony, you're the TJ Hooker of Wales! ;) Blasting caps should be second nature

I'd quite enjoy the carting again, as I'm sure Speed Demon Big Brother would too, not to mention Sideways Stu and his mentalist penchant for black flags. All the time I thought I was speed freak... these Welshies are mentalists, you just have to catch an episode of Dirty Sanchez to gauge their mentality  Truely shocking... I wouldn't trust 'em with guns or bowling balls.... or sheep for that matter :P

Hey, great idea VBB & Stu. Are we southerners allowed in or is this an exclusively oop North event? ;)

I'd be up for it (assuming I don't destroy my engine at the Pod) - any excuse to get my TT out of London and on the open roads really. I fancy a bit of a karting challenge but any of the other activities would be cool too.

I'd definitely need to stay over, tho, if one of you guys can accomodate me. If I stay at Stu's will I get Lancashire hot pot for breakfast? :D

As VBB comment, there's always a warm welcome for everyone old or new! Hope to see some new faces this year too, Manchester and Liverpool are only down the road so if there's any new NW members who'd like to come over please post or PM me.

@Rich: Plenty of spare room at Ad's or the Chacks residence for you amigo, although don't do Lancashire Hotpot, but Sue does a wkd Welsh Hotpot (difference being Lamb&Leeks of course, cos we loves them, isn't it!), might even stretch to some BaraBrith in the morning for you

Will iron out a schedule with the NW members and post asap, will prob be something like
- Meet&greet/refreshements - Quick scenic route convoy/photos - Activity/Bowling/Carting/etc - Pub for Food/Beverages/pub games - head home, or back to mine for more nightcap :D

Re date - thought end of November would be good before everyone gets tied up with xmas, but looking back, last years was December 10th and was fun getting the party hats on at the restraunt - so.... what does everyone think of having it 9th of December again for a Christmas vibe? Please let us know as need to set date asap.

VBB - can you add JT, Sue Chacks, and Andy&Alyson to the list please. Might even have Ma'm Chacks over in her 480 too! :D

Stu.

Loki - I thought I was sad when I painted my calipers and discs (the non rubby bits) when I changed the discs (hammerite green which is a good match for the TT. Your paint scheme is real cool though - how did you do teh volvo bit.

Macaroon I hope I can support the southern element.

Being a 40 something (dont ask me to define something) bowling would be my fav especially as it is not weather dependent. I get killed toooo often in laser quest.

Hope to have the celeb if it is in good road worthy (rather than satisfacory road worthy) and if I have sold the TT and not bought the GT.

@ Stu & VBB: nice to know you won't be checking passports at Watford Gap, then ;)

@ SteveR: Hi, it'd be great to see another member from the southern contingent. Go on, bring the TT if you haven't sold it... they look so great in pairs.

@ Stu: So the Lancs hotpot was a red herring, all along, eh? Never mind, Welsh fruitcake sounds delicious. If there's a bed free can u put me down for some of that? :D

Cheers,

Rich
