Hi Dave,

It was always my intention to have this meet on the second bank holiday ie at the end of May. There will obviously be a better chance of good weather then.

Apologies to everyone if I did not make this clear.

Now I have the 480 Turbo problem out of my hair I will devote a little time to putting an agenda together. Basically I will take the format of last year and improve. I think we will go for same funding which seemed to work although I lost a little. This was £10 a car and driver and £5 per person in addition.

Perhaps this time it would be better for people to pay before, that way we could get the food and drinks to be more exact. Your thoughts (everyone) would be appreciated.

Regards

Chris

Chris,

I agree that payment should be sent before people turn uP. That way people can't shit you around like some seem to.

Hi Everyone,

I am about to start preparations and note that I do not have many names. So before I go ahead and put pen to paper (keyboard to screen!) can I get a head count of those who are definitely coming? (bar emergencies of course)

Send me an email as mentioned previously to chris@swi.org.uk with details of numbers, email address and mobile number (so we can contact you on the day if you go missing!)

The date will be Saturday and Sunday 29th and 30th May 2004.

The same date as the continental meeting? So really no interest from the UK to join the people on the continent? :(

Hi Daniel,

Sorry about that. We have been planning it for a while now. I think most people had made their mind up that going over to the continent was probably out anyway. I am sure you will have a good turnout.

Chris

Hi All,

Apologies for not getting much on here but things are happening all the time in the C6REW household.

Anyway first of all here is a this list of people who said they would come:

HANDLE QTY
jamwor007 2
Martin Holmes 1
Fnord 1
Matbat 1
DragonLord 2
Dbsvolvos 2
John Denmead 2
Jon 1
Cat Groom 2
C6REW 6
C6REW + 4
Wedge69 2
Lee 1
Jamododger 1
Total 28

And those who may be coming:

HANDLE QTY
Thexile 1
midnight rambler 1
Hereagain 1
Ben Harris 1
Richard 1
Jncg 2
Total 7

This list is based on emails to me and people who said they would come in the thread. Any changes please let me know asap. chris@swi.org.uk

As has been suggested on dragons thread we will make this a two day event in the same fashion as last year. ie turn up on Saturday and leave at your leisure on Sunday. I think this is a better idea than making it three days as you (and us) will have time to relax on the Monday and take it easy before work (spit!!)

I will put more details on later but I think we will go for the same as last year £10 per car and driver and £5 per additional person. We will sort out a BBQ and for those who need it, as last year we will sort out some veggie burgers. Stop over will be using tents in and around my gaff. Any money left over from hiring of field and food will go the all important drinks. It would be better of course if more people come as at the moment there is not enough money to get much. The alternative would be to up the price - over to you.

Swimming costumes are required!

That will do for now, I will await your responses and go out shopping to Salisbury.

Regards

Chris
