i have been speaking with the wise owl ;) about this and i have come up with a solution to the the rough area.

Everyone who is willing to go put their names down with their location. Then we will work out from that were the best place is for the meet. The midlands is the middle, but only the midland of england so not fair on the bonny scotts. So the more from the south the further south we try and go. We do have to arrange a place to stay and things gto do so we do need a little lean way.

so come people help us to help you make 2009 a dam good year for the 480 forum.

There are a number of mechanical devices which increase sexual arousal, particularly in women. Chief among these is the Volvo 480 ;)

Well if it's the midlands I wouldn't be able to say no! [I'm from Shropshire]
Although I don't mind travelling a little, so long as it's at the right time of year I should be able to make a trip/holiday of it. But as it's graduation year this year I don't know what I'm doing over the summer... :s

well im midlands aswell. so im up for that, and there are enough places about to BnB it up, if people need help organising places aswell im sure we can all help find the nicer BnB's in the area. rutland waters nice, but on nice days hard to park and dont think they allow camping. but im sure there are enough places it can be held. theres a local school in melton mowbray that lets campers use the fields. easy place to find aswell. Home of the pork pie, and i live there so i wont really have to travel ! lol

I'm easy, Lakes sounds good, although I would like to know what actually goes on at a 480 Club meeting? If there's going to be sprogs and ice cream I might just climb during the day and swill grog round the camp fire in the evening, if thats not too antisocial!? Mini-me's = migrains.

Cerbie's stable of 480's is also in Burmygam... So a midlands meet
gets another vote from me...

Judging by the locations of the most active posting members we're
gonna have to rename this place
Volvo 480 Club Midlands soon...

(yes I am joking, I know the rest of you are further afield)

Shame the Wythall is on a tuesday in the sunny months... would have
been interesting to all descend on them before/after the official club
gathering...

(tho the Wythall is on sundays in the winter months... hmmmm...)
