The weather forecast looks too good to be true!

I suspect that I may not get there until the Windmill part of the itinerary.

Have a safe journey everyone and see you tomorrow!

We are already holed up in a nearby hotel.
The clock change could mean an hour earlier start without losing sleep !

Rumours say it’s a buffet breakfast start…..

That extra hour will be worthwhile!

Great to meet everyone today at the Weston Manor. Thanks for giving me the 'tour', in particular Will and Martin, I didn't get to speak to everyone there but you're a great bunch, offering loads of support with ownership. I just need to buy a 480 now! Hope you all get home safely. Nick

Really good to meet you Nick!

An excellent day. Thanks for arranging it Will D and Sylvia!

3 UK GTs, 1 Dutch GT, 2 Turbos, 1 Two Tone, 1 Celebration amongst the 10 car total. Sylvia was saying it's almost certainly the biggest UK turnout since before the pandemic.

Great to meet everyone!

Great to meet everyone. Fantastic day. Thanks to WD and Sylvia for organising.

It was a really enjoyable meet - big thanks to Will for working out the route for us and negotiating with Weston Manor as well as the coach company now occupying the old Volvo holding tank. Sadly they said they weren't able to find a volunteer willing to open up on a Sunday for us, but I did just wonder if it was more to do with their insurance not covering non-employees on site. Still, we had room to park in front of the gate.

As always, the day was made by good company. I was really impressed that Chris from the Netherlands joined us in his GT. and it was great to finally meet Jay-Kay-Em and see his gorgeous car.

Here are some photos from my dashcam.

Will picked a lovely scenic route for us - pretty villages and an interesting old church in this one

Image

unfortuantely scenic = lots of cyclists

Image

hand signal from Jeff

Image

horse riding territory as well - at least this one did useful hand signals

Image

o look, there IS a windmill at Brill Hill

Image

bumpy track equals wonky dashcam

more horses

and another one

potential new owner joined us at Weston Manor

Weston Manor photos to follow.
