ANNOUNCEMENT: 2006 Volvo 480 Calendar!
After a lot of editing on my PC I am proud to announce that I have finished the 2006 Volvo 480 Calendar!
I think it is a real masterpiece. The calendar is printed on 180 gr/m^2 photopaper and is ready to serve you through all months next year Have a look at the photos below I took from the first prototype I finished today!
Estimated price: 15,- exlc. p&p --> I know that it sounds like a lot of money, but you will also get a lot of calendar and support the club, now who can say no to that
I hope it's not just me who thinks this looks good
PS: on the purchased version you will not find the word 'specimen'

Looks very nice Daniel.
No doubt €15 will be finding its way to you soon Maybe €30 if Nikki sees it, and wants one for the office.......

You can even use it as a diary to write down what mileage the car was at while at the petrol station, and how much fuel you used. Or when you had her serviced
I am working on finding some equipment for producing the calenders myself, I hope to have that sorted soon. If all goes well I should have the merchandise section online this weekend

Very good looking indeed-i'll def. have one.
But may i just say...by no means am i knocking your hardwork Daniel, i appreciate how much time and effort goes into these things (being a Graphic Designer myself), and the outcome is very good. There are 2 things that bother me though. 1)The front cover. I know you'll never see it anyway, but i think the club logo should dominate it as opposed to the year. 2) Am i just being picky, or does it really need two snow covered 480's?
I really aren't here to offend-i'll be having one whatever, they were just 2 things that caught my eye. Good work though-some very nice pictures!

Hi Dan!
Thanks for the feedback! I can handle a (little) critisism, as long as it's constructive
I have received a better pick of a 480 in the snow, so I will remove one of the two snowy pictures from the calendar.
I also agree on the cover, I designed that one in 20 secs when I realised I didn't have one yet. It will be a black 'n white cover, but I will put some time in it.
I have just ordered a couple houndreds woth of tools for producing calendars myself, on the long run it will be worth it, compared to what copyshops ask for doing it It should arrive in about a week so I have some time to change the design. Somewhere the following days I'm hoping to open a simple version of a webstore, people can then order the calenders
Cheers,
Daniël

Hi Dan!
I hope that was constructive-it did sound a little 'challenging' but was certainly not meant that way
It is a good calendar-i'm quite looking forward to this online store-not only can i waste all my money on my car, but what little i have left i can spend on 480 related goods!
And i would say your def. better off getting the tools if you're doing a big run. Printers and binders etc seem to like charging an arm and a leg for things like that...DIY is the best way forward!
