ANNOUNCEMENT: New logo and first ever goodies ready!

With great pride we announce our NEW clublogo! The old logo did look nice, but it was too hard to stitch it on polos for example. We now had a professional designer developping this for us. We have been busy getting it ready for a few months, small adjustments here and there, and I must say I am pretty pleased with it :D Of course we hope you will like it too.

The first time we showed it to the world was as a surprise at the Luxembourg-meeting. It was nice to see almost everyone appreciated the new logo.

Besides a new logo we have also had our first club-goodies made: darkblue polos with orange stitching! See photos below:

The blue and orange go very well together. Maybe in time we will have them made in different colors, but for now only blue/orange is available. We hope you like them enough to buy them. We will start a club-merchandise section soon where items like this can be purchased. The club will make some money this way to develop new items, so you will be supporting the club both by buying them and by wearing them :D

From now on you should be able to tell on a meeting who is a boardmember of the club by looking at the back of the polo

Looks nice :D
Just one question - are you going to leave it black and white only??
Cheers,
J.

PS Remember to make one in Dark Green Metallic for Catgroom :D

Well done Daniel, that's a fine new logo! Nice angle view of the car too :D

Are you going to do it in colour on the website/stickers etc?

Thanks!
Martin

Nice job :)

So how do I get a sticker then? It's much nicer than the last logo. Plus my sticker is starting to fade :(

Should we not have an original 480.

rather than the new shaped one in the logo.

Hi Richard,

we have had new stickers made as well. Different than the previous stickers (which we're out of now) these shouldn't fade for at least 6 years! They can be placed on the outside instead of the inside of the window (or another location than a window). I am sorry to inform you all that we will no longer distribute them for free, but will sell them for 1.50 Eur each, excl. p&p. This way the club-balance will stay healthy and 1.50 isn't too much money compared to keeping the 480 running...

I hope this is not the point you find out that after years of questioning why the cars on this website look a bit different than yours because you've actually been driving a Hond Accord Aerodeck ;) (just a joke!)

It really is a real 480, when looked at from bumper-level. That's why the windscreen may look a bit low?

Like the shirts and congratualtions on the logo, should look good wrapped around a mug. Would have prefered red on black but wtf. Wouldn't put me off purchasing one.

What happens if your names not "CREW"?

Thanks :)

I think that may be the answer to my paintwork problems, just get enough stickers to cover the whole outside of the car, it's cheaper than a respray :)

It's mine, I have 1 :D

Last year in Sweden at VROM I bought a Volvo-shirt, it was hanging on a Volvo hanger. Was quite crowded so I held the hanger and shirt up, passed the money over someone elses shoulder and walked away a happy Volvo-hanger man :volvo:

@Ettore Bugatti: I'll try to find time somewhere soon to have the site updated. Just replacing the images on the server should do the trick :D

CREW on the back is for the people running the club only, sorry ;)
