And because that didn't work I tried to PM the OP the message. It was Slash01 I was trying to contact.

Thanks for getting back so quick.

I am having problems posting. In fact if this goes, up, I will be surprised!

I am trying to reply to gingerheed's For Sale post but keep getting a 403 Error saying that I don't have permission to access this document.

Can any grown ups help?

I have logged out and back in... can't think of much else to do my end!

Your test post worked, can't you post anything after that?

It would be nice to see the latest 10 posts instead of the current 5 in the board index. That way more people might see them before they pass to page 2.

Posted what I wanted in many posts in the end, although this wouldn't work for the last two days either. What a pain! Is there a maximum character limit?

Details -
last 3 days writing big replays to topic starter with detailed replay and links, when push preview or submit all is gone... when trying reload page browser asking to send this form one more time but nothing... after that I can't access forum for about 10-15 minutes every time I try to post replay, it's like freezing something - trying logout-login, trying different browsers and different IP's - nothing.... Last replay to this thread freeze forum when I'm just try to upload few more links...
Don't know whats wrong, but I spend about 3 days to post replay and really don't have so much time.

Not a forum issue but one with the main website. When logged in, the link to the Parts Catalogue no longer works. Can this be restored somehow, please?

All.

Please see thread her http://www.volvo-480-europe.org/forum/v ... 52#p208852

The ball is now rolling, the forum will be updated and with it all of these issues 'should' dissapear. It will take a little time due to the testing but it will be done.

Any questions/comment, lets see them here

Dear Daniel,‎

Can the phpbb software be upgraded please?

I use bxclub.co.uk and clubxm.co.uk and both have upgraded to a later phpbb version which means that it looks much better on different sized screens, e.g. mobile phones. This was over a year ago and the main intent was to enable browsing from various devices, e.g. mobile phones.‎

I ask because of all the Photobucket induced nonsense that has been brought upon us. I've opened an Imgur account to try and find somewhere to put my photos. When I try putting imgur .jpg links in with the [img] code, they come out massive here on our forum, when viewed on my little screen. This only happens on our old softwared 480 Club. Forums that have upgraded (like the two I mention) manage to resize to the screen. ‎

Also, can we PLEASE consider hosting our own photos and attachments? Again, phpbb makes this possible, as I see it on other forums. If we did so we would not be held at the mercy of Photobucket, or users moving/deleting their photos. People are moving to Imgur, Flickr and Postimg but one day, one of these could "do a Photobucket" on us.

Our Web resource is valuable and the photos and attachments are vital to illustrating our historical posts.

If a donation is required for more server space somewhere, then you can count me in.

Tried to post a new thread with five pictures in it. Same old problem as usual about access forbidden. Had to load the pictures in separate posts.
