Just wanted to make you aware that thanks to red480gt, section 8 of the Volvo service manual is now up on my site - this section covers body equipment such as bumpers, panels, the heater etc etc. It's about 8.4MB in size. :)
Cheers!

What do you mean with the owners book? The service-book where all service intervalls are mentioned sounds most likely to be an owners book ;) Or do you mean the hard-cover 480 introduction book?

To most people (certainly the Brits), the owners book (owners manual) is the floppy envelope sized book you get in your owners wallet, it is entitled "480 Owners manual" and does the usual congratulating you on your purchase and shows you how the infocentre works, has things like performance and tyre pressures in etc.

My new printer/scanner arrives either tomorrow or Friday so I can finally get the English version scanned in - can anyone ahem PM me with some information as to PDF creation tools and the possible "borrowing" thereof?

I'll also be able to scan some brochures I've acquired etc.
