Calendar 2007 is being printed

Post by coyote1980 » Thu Nov 30, 2006 9:03 am

Hi all!

The 2007 calendars are being printed as I type this. Yesterday I received the second test/waiting-for-approval version from the press-shop and this one was looking good (the first one was printed on a bad printer).

So I hope the calendars will arive somewhere next week.

I will post it here when they arrive :D No pictures yet, since my house is being turned upside down by constructors renovating various windows, they should be finished tomorrow :) And this weekend (05-12) is Sinterklaas (you know, that's where the American 'Santa Clause' comes from ) so lots of family activities...

2007 Calendars

Post by stu chacks » Sat Dec 23, 2006 4:41 pm

Just want to say 'Good work fella!' to Daniel for the 2007 Calendars. We ordered some just before the NW meet and they arrived just in time.

The quality is excellent, and the photo's are superb, has a 480 for every season in there. I'm sure anyone who's bought/recieved on of these will vouch how good they are. Get your orders in!

Thanks again Daniel. :D

Stu.

Sounds good. Where do I buy one - they do not appear in the club webshop?
Christmas Greetings to anyone reading this!

A bit late answer here, but you're right
Your "Saint Nicholas" is "Sint Nicolaas" in dutch, but in popular mouth aka
"Sinterklaas"
Sinterklaas has his birthday on the 5th of dec and he lives in Spain with his black personel (Zwarte Pieten)
He is supposed to travel around with his horse on the roofs on the 4th, throwing surprises through the chimney
Under the chimney kids lay down their shoes with food for the horse in it, which in return would be replaced with surprises
You may call Sinterklaas as a typical dutch tradition

At x-mas we have another person, called the "Kerstman" and he puts his surprises under the x-mas tree
This "Kerstman" is known worldwide as "Santa Claus" and is supposed to live on the North pole

Every year I wish for a 'new' 480...
