The indicator cluster consists of two parts: the direction indicator and positioning lights.

Volvo delivered two versions:
1) with simple 5W positioning light
2) with 21W/4W day running lights / positioning lights

The day running lights may be used during daylight. It removes the need to raise your popups during the day.

has anyone got any news on this? I broke the plastic on one of my day-lights at the front, and would love to mount new lights with clear indicators.
if this guy is not selling them anymore, any ideas where i could get new front-light components?
(have checked ebay to no avail)

thanks

I dont know of anyone who sells them seperately, but if worst comes to the worst, you can buy the whole cluster from Volvo for £35 a side (rough price-depends on the dealership you go to!)

I'm still after some clear front wing blinkers and the minging orange things on the rear quarter panel swapping for the clear ones. I tried getting hold of this chap to see if he had anymore but to no avail. Does anyone know where to get hold of him? New email address?

Thanks
Owen :D

Six months ago, i studied the possibility to make some really clear sidemarkers.

Today i'm proud to show you the result :D

They are resilient and clear.

I sell them 20€ in France where I live.

I will ask for postage cost to UK next week.

If interested, please contact me at: paul [AT] chabardes.net

Rear ones will be make in a second time.

Edit: I hope Williewammes won't blame me selling these sidemarkers. As he wasn't posting anymore I though he let down his production.

u can just get em off with a thick screwdriver best.

or you leave them on the car and just get off the orange reflector, and switch it with the clear ones then, if u have no spare pair.

don't bother williewammes, he almost never showed up..... en check his last post with his words:

Okay,

He is back and so is his 480. Brand new paint and a new rear fender.
I'm sorry for not replying on the questions.

Anyway, the next weeks I will be busy rebuilding my 480. After thay I hope to start on the light clusters again. I'm affraid I will only be making the small sidemarkers rear and the small blinkers in the front fender. The other ones are hard to get right. It will take too much time and materials.

As soon as I start you guys will hear.

Regards,

Wiljen
almost 1,5 year later en still nog clear sidemarkers from williewammes.
