Rearlights.

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Rearlights.

Post by Myrtsi » Mon Mar 06, 2006 8:10 pm

Hmm, i was thinking that has anyone build different type rearlights? I`m building new rearlights, i`m using e-accepted round lights (hella or some caravan lights) and i put plexiglass above them and bottom of lights is original volvo 480 light bottom, so bracket fits 100% that will look like lexus lights. I put some pictures when i start building them (i had started building but there is nothing to see yet). My old lights are so badly broken that i cant stand them anymore. Also new ones cost about 400e/pair :( Put if someone had build some type rear lights send me pictures or post em there. Sorry about my bad english put hope everyone understands. :)

The cornflake question was good, i was actually waiting for someone to ask about it :) In finland allmost every food package has text in finnish, swedish and english (some have even french, german and russian texts). Cornflakes are also very good and healthy. :) Also cornflakes is trademark and finnish name for them is "maissihiutaleet" but cornflakes sounds better. Now comes the hardest part of light making because i must do identical another light. :|

I was thinking about this the other day... great minds think alike.

They look superb, get them on the car and take some pictures.

P.S. I will take a set

Lights cost 19e per each and wiring 5e each. Folio tech carbon fibre film cost 25e. Glue and silicon about 30e. Full price was about 220-240e for a pair. Not cheap but cheaper than buying original lights from volvo. Original lights cost 200e per each.
