Can anybody help me?

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Can anybody help me?

Post by Marta » Wed Feb 08, 2006 11:58 am

Hello, my name is Marta and Im from Madrid (Spain). I own a dark grey metallic 480 GT from '97. I'd like to give it a more personal look. Can anybody tell me where can I get two sill plates to put on the doors? Here in Spain it's very difficult to find cause this car isn't very wanted (I love it and will never want other though). I upload two pics to show you what I mean. I need them to say ''VOLVO'', ''VOLVO 480'' or ''VOLVO 480 GT''. Maybe anybody knows a shop on internet where you can order them and ship to Spain. Thanks a lot.

POP-UP!!

Hey Marta, not sure about ready made sillplates, I'd be inclined to buy the stainless/alloy plates myself (any decent sheetmetal workers would be able to supply&cut to size for you) and have them engraved locally. You could have whatever you want engraved on them then, and would probably work out same price if not cheaper.

Sure someone else on here can point you to ready made source.

Stu.

The second pic looks like the ones our very own LaserOwl did. I don't think he makes them any more though. :(
