Hi all
he is spot on 1amp is futile resistance is futile
i broke the element of the drivers side which may well be causing blow outs but i have another area of check first(my glovebox connections)it appears behind the glove is a long thick loom of wires which the glove door hinge is sticking on and that may have pulled apart my connection.
gonna tie rap that loom back at the same time damn thing.
cheers all so my 6amp should still be better off or should i go lower as im almost sure its the glovebox prob which has made something come loose.
sg
any help plz(neons)fuse question

Well the correct fuse to use to prevent damage is a 1amp fuse (as murf worked out earlier). Any more than this and you run the risk of damaging the unit. You will have to figure out why the current reaching the neons is too high. try a 1 amp and see what happens...
