Project 2 finally complete!!!

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Project 2 finally complete!!!

Post by 98kellrs » Sat Dec 31, 2005 2:29 am

After many months of design, and a load of labour by me and me dad, i've finally managed to create my own custom spoiler. Although fitted, I am planning on having it sprayed, although am not sure about what colour(s) yet. Anywho, lemme know what you think...

For those wondering, it's made of fibreglass, and is awesomely strong :kill:

That's it as it looked today with just a layer of blue gel coat, hopefully with a decent lick of paint, it'll look even better!!! :hopping:

1992 480 ES, 110k, Paris blue, custom SS side-exit exhaust, De-catted, custom fibreglass lightweight bonnet, custom fibreglass front spoiler, stripped interior, Slate Black textured metal paint throughout, Cobra Imola S drivers Seat, Ricco 4 point 3 inch harness, Magnecor KV85 leads.

Current Status: A very impressive track car. :-D

Looks good, nice work! :D

What I would do to make it look even better is fill up the triangular hole between the frontspoiler and the front wheelarches. that would make it look more blend in than "put on afterwards" ;)

Quite ok. It would look better if it was a little shorter.
But anyway looks better than normal 480.
Well done!

renault 19's in the uk must be bigger then as they need to be chopped around 2.5 inches and then remoulded together. I currently have a set that i am playing with.

Saxo skirts are around 4 inches too short and need to be cut and extended.
