Bodykit

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Bodykit

Post by Richmann1 » Mon Dec 19, 2005 9:14 pm

Noticed this in the guest book if anybody is interested :dunno: ? Dont know what it looks like. Its in the uk as well :D

Ild just like to say hi there to all u wedge fans, ive recently, well say resently its been about 2 years now, finally finished my final my 480 body kit, my friend asked me if i was interested in building 1 as no1 else outthere does, so i jumped at the chance, we spent ours making plugs molds, messing with filler, laminating the list of dirty jobs was endless, but just 2 weeks ago we cracked our first bumper out,and fited it to my car...... any way this means naw there is a customised bodykit for a 48,its a bit mean looking with lots ov personality and im shore it will turn heads, so if there is any1 outthere interested in purchasing 1, then myself and my friend will be happy to ablidge, for more info email me at dean480@hotmail.co.uk or lwhiteland@fsmail.net thank you

I have a complete Theiss bodykit, it's off my car right now, and since i'm having radiator/thermostat/engine overheating trouble with my turbo, plus financial woes, it's not gonna get put on anytime soon.

If anyone wants to borrow it for moulds, it's available. Mat wanted it, but obv. has disappeared to kiwiland, Lee wanted it but let me down on picking it up. So anyone interested PM me.
Parts stockpiled for future Turbo project:
Full Theiss Bodykit (requiring refurbishment) inc Front and Rear Fogs
New Rear Clusters
New Clear Front Indicators
Custom Hard Load Cover With 6 Speaker System and 'Cargo Hatch'
Digital Clock
Auxiliary Gauges

Not so much a case of letting you down m8, ( maybe lack of communication) just the cost of getting the moulds made are too much to risk people not buying any kits.

We all say oh yeah i want one, or I'll have one but when it comes down to hard cash we all seem to disappear.

eg look at the Hausser Spoiler thread.
http://volvo480.dragons.org.uk/forum/vi ... php?t=7903
Lee & myself had this mould made at gr8 expense ( admitted because we wanted one ourselves) but despite people saying I want it we have only had 2 inquiries and as yet no firm orders.

Not having a go or getting  head on just trying to explain how things are.

thx

Fair play, but point being he arranged a date to collect it and just didn't show, no contact at all. No hard feelings or anything, didn't make any difference to me afterall.
