Some photoshopping, EDIT

The Volvo 480 looks good as is, but if you have the desire to give it a more personal look you can find out what others did to their 480 and be inspired.

Although I must admit that this one, Richard, is by far the best I've seen so far.

But... there's no need to. The 480 is elegant and sporty. Just keep it that way.
Some lowering: okay, nice wheels: ditto.

No bodykits. The body cannot be bettered with a kit.

Regards,
Peter

I agree! the only way it could be done nicely is by making it look the same as the original. Thats what I tried to do with my photoshopping.

Just looking at the photoshop mr Red posted back in December....the silver one without the side bumpers...

Has anyone removed the side bumpers (but leaving the rest of the car standard)? Or has anyone photoshoped a standard car with no side bumpers.

I love the smooth lines shown in me Red's pic, but not sure how it would look on a standard 480.

Thanks

Matt

17" is too big...unless you've got a Rich mod Turbo. Had my ex B/F's B18E ES with 17"'s and hated the damn things. 15 is max, and suits the car down to the ground

15" and dropped 40mm works, I reckon :D

I wouldn't discount 16's... I've heard there are some uber-rare 16" volvo alloys that fit the 480's. I think I recall seeing pics too

I could have been dreaming tho.

Hi,

I do these caricatures myself. I once noticed a drawing like that and ever since I am making them myself.

When I have the time, I will be putting a lot of them on my website www.wdesignonline.tk

It's possible to buy them, and it is also possible to let your own car to be drawn for a friendly price. Like em?

What spring did you used to lower it by 80mm?

good stuff.... now I know how my Es will look like :hopping:

2Robin

Custom lowering front with red H&R springs from BMW 5series ('98 ), back was made from Merc 190 H&R red ones (also front) cuted down to mach front height - not the best decision for back but forks fine for 2years, will change them for something bit softer
